Low - Income Passive House

Maine State Housing Authority has been searching for a new typology to house low-income individuals. They requested that this new typology is a passive house approved, as well as designed around the parameters of universal design. My design takes both of these into account and also has a major focus on the outdoor green space for each unit. Each outdoor green space has an abundance of uses from a garden, a patio area, or even a play area for children. Aside from the green space, each unit has a high vaulted ceiling upon entry and then compresses as you move between the public area, to the private area, which consists of the bedroom, bathroom, and mechanical room.
